Goodman Architectural Services, Inc., located in Joplin, Missouri, is a second generation, full service, Architectural, Engineering and Construction Management Firm, specializing in the design and building of churches and church related facilities.

In 1960, the company was originally founded by Walter Goodman as Goodman Church Builders. The inspiration for the company was generated by need. Walter Goodman was a minister with a congregation that had outgrown its building. Out of necessity, Walter designed and built a larger church. As word spread, other ministers who needed additions or new buildings began coming to Walter for help. Goodman Church Builders was established to meet the needs of the Christian community for designing and building quality structures at an affordable cost. In later years the name of the company was changed to Goodman Architectural Services, Inc. to better reflect the architectural services being offered.
